Tranzine - Review |
Tranzine is one of those sites that attempts to cater to those of us who enjoy pictures, movies and erotic stories. Unfortunately, sites like these tend to focus less on one particular section and spread themselves too thin all around. Tranzine is, unfortunately, one of those sites. There are sections catering to pictures, movies and stories… but there’s certainly not enough of each to warrant a $30.00 price tag or even an $8.00 3-day trial.
The site is called Tranzine, and it should have stayed an E-Zine site like the URL states. And the site has been around for more than a year, so there is no excuse for it to have only seven movies of increasingly low quality. Well, enough bashing, let’s explore some more and see if the trial is truly worth the 8 bucks it will cost you.

From the beginning, Tranzine is a difficult site to navigate. The main URL page seems alright, until you decide to click on the links presented. None of them work because they aren’t really links but lines of text telling you what’s inside. So, where is the ENTER button? Scroll down a few pages, past the thumbnails advertising for other sites, which are completely unnecessary and cheapen the site in the process, and you’ll find the link you were looking for. Ignore the warning, copyright and privacy polices and notices. They’re a waste of space, as is this site.
Once inside, you can click on the Tour section to see what might be inside. You’re presented with a few pages of magazine-like thumbnails with uncensored pictures, which was nice of them to do. Some of the pictures are well lit and clear; others are in black and white and very pixelated. Are they vidcaps? Probably not, seeing as there are dozens of magazine thumbnails to click on and only 7 movies presented for viewing.
Beneath each magazine thumb, you’re given a quick blurb on what’s inside and a photo count of the pictures showcased. If there’s a movie available, there is a blurb that states that and its length. Two very welcomed additions, but lost in translation.
Once a bonafide member, the site looks exactly the same. Instead of the heading TOUR, you are hit with a MEMBERS title. And that’s it. No other changes; nothing new to see. Everything else that was given in the tour section is available as a full-fledged member. Basically, you are given a few more pictures and those 7 movies mentioned above.
The other links available are About, Contact and Erotic Stories. There is no link for just pictures or model names and galleries or one for those anemic movies. Clicking on About gives you a rundown on who runs the site and who does the photography and filming. Here’s a little sample on who runs the show:

Ed. Note: I’m not sure what the blurb has to do with anything, but unfortunately, her pictures weren’t lost in the flood of the recent New Orleans disaster.
I can go on, but I won’t. The site sucks. The pictures are weak and the movies look like they were filmed in a dark room with little to no lighting. Most of the time, all you see is a dick or an ass, no bodies and no faces. Were the models afraid to appear on screen? If they knew where the crap was going to end up, I would hide as well.
Conclusion
If the webmasters of the site had any brains, they would have focused solely on the E-Magazine aspect of the site with some sprinkling of erotic stories mixed in. Unfortunately, they decided to include other forms of media and ended up short-changing their paying customers. There have been many E-Magazine sites that have succeeded on their own merit catering to lovers of photography. Perhaps the site can regroup and realize they are a magazine site and leave the videos for those more in the know.
